The weekly projects are designed to be most beneficial when taken together as a series, and each project comes with three levels of support for your comfort.
- Class A - Presenter guidance and as-needed assistance given. This class is best suited for participants most comfortable engaging independently or with minimal support. Max (6).
- Class B - Presenter guidance and additional hands-on helpers nearby to assist if needed. This class is best suited for participants who are most comfortable engaging with minimal to moderate assistance. Max (4).
- Class C - Presenter guidance, hands-on helpers available, and caregivers welcome to stay. This class is best suited for participants who are most comfortable engaging with moderate to maximum assistance. Max (4).
For caregivers of those over 18 and lower support needs, Woodlawn Lake is close to Shire House and is lovely for meditative acts such as a walk around the park, sitting under a tree, or perhaps catching up on that book while your loved one is safe and having fun with their group.
Shire House will provide individually wrapped light snacks and water.
Masks will be worn by the facilitator, staff, and volunteers.
